🎓 Year 0–2: Training
After clearing UPSC CSE, candidates become Officer Trainees. Training happens at LBSNAA, Mussoorie. It includes district training, Bharat Darshan, and administrative preparation.
🏛 Year 2–4: SDM / Assistant Collector
First field posting. You manage law & order, revenue administration, and local governance in a subdivision.
📋 Year 4–9: ADM / CEO Zila Parishad
Greater responsibility in district administration. You supervise development schemes and governance execution.
🏆 Year 8–12: District Magistrate (DM)
Head of district administration. Responsible for law & order, elections, disaster management, and overall governance.
🏢 Year 13–16: Director / Special Secretary (State)
Move towards Secretariat roles. You help design and monitor state-level policies.
